The James Madison Fellowship provides up to $24,000 for graduate study to individuals who desire to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level.
Eligibility

- Intend to become a teacher of American history, American government, or social studies at the secondary school level (grades 7-12)
- Must hold a bachelor's degree by September 1 of the award year
