The Spectrum Scholarship Program recruits and provides scholarships to students from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups to assist them with obtaining a graduate degree and leadership positions within the profession.

Eligibility

  • Citizenship: US, Canada
  • GPA: N/A (must be in good academic standing)
  • Demographic: minority
  • Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be accepted into an ALA-accredited master's program in library and information science
  • Identify as American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern/North African, or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander
