The Robert D. Watkins Graduate Research Fellowship supports outstanding underrepresented minority graduate students who are pursuing doctoral degrees in microbiology. It promotes diversity in the microbial sciences.
Eligibility
- Citizenship: US
- GPA: 3.0+
- Demographic: african-american, hispanic, native-american, asian, pacific-islander
- Must be an underrepresented minority (African American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, Hawaiian Native, or Pacific Islander)
- Must be a graduate student in the second or third year of their doctoral program in microbiology
