The Boren Fellowship provides funding for U.S. graduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. national security. An MBA program abroad in an eligible country could be supported.

Eligibility

  • Citizenship: US
  • GPA: Competitive
  • Enrolled in an accredited graduate program (MBA included)
  • Studying abroad in areas critical to U.S. national security (excluding Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand)
  • Commitment to public service in the federal government
