The Erwin Schrödinger Fellowships enable highly qualified young researchers from Austria to gain experience abroad or allow international researchers to conduct a research stay in Austria. It supports career development and mobility.
Eligibility
- Citizenship: International (primarily Austrian researchers going abroad or international researchers with strong ties to Austria)
- GPA: PhD required (completed within 5 years)
- Research project at a host institution abroad (for Austrian researchers) or in Austria (for international researchers with prior Austrian research experience)
