Roast 425°F, 35-45 min, turn halfway.

Hands-off, even browning on all sides. Drumsticks’ cylindrical shape makes stovetop contact uneven.

Pull temp: 175°F

Step-by-Step

1. Pat dry. Season well — the skin is thick so be generous.

2. Arrange on wire rack over sheet pan (or directly on greased pan).

3. Roast 425°F.

4. Turn halfway at 20 min.

5. Continue roasting 15-25 min more.

6. Pull at 175°F.

Size & Portion Guide

Small drumsticks: 30-35 min.

Large drumsticks: 40-50 min.

They're done when the meat pulls away from the bone slightly.

Secondary Method STOVETOP

Pan fry med heat 20-25 min, turn often.

Pro Tip

Wire rack on a sheet pan = crispier all around.
