Barbell Overhead Press
How to Perform
- Step 1: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, barbell at collarbone.
- Step 2: Grip slightly wider than shoulders.
- Step 3: Press the bar straight overhead until arms are locked.
- Step 4: Lower with control back to the starting position.
Tips
- Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
- Move your head slightly back as the bar passes your face.
- Do not lean back excessively.
