Barbell Bent-Over Row

Back intermediate barbell compound

How to Perform

  1. Step 1: Hinge at hips with knees slightly bent, back flat.
  2. Step 2: Grip barbell slightly wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Step 3: Pull the bar to your lower chest/upper abdomen.
  4. Step 4: Squeeze shoulder blades together at the top.
  5. Step 5: Lower with control.

Tips

  • Keep torso at roughly 45 degrees.
  • Do not use momentum — control the weight.
