How to Perform

  1. Step 1: Stand holding a barbell at hip level.
  2. Step 2: Push your hips back, lowering the bar along your thighs.
  3. Step 3: Keep a slight bend in your knees.
  4. Step 4: Lower until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings.
  5. Step 5: Drive hips forward to return to standing.

Tips

  • Keep the bar close to your body.
  • Do not round your lower back.
  • Feel the stretch in your hamstrings.
